In the course of our projects very often we are able to identify optimization potentials together with our customers that can be realized with the application of specific software tools for production and logistics. We integrate specific customer requirements, production and logistics expertise and the knowledge of our software development experts into individual applications, which reduce daily tasks and are able to support you in your daily business. For the software development we apply different platforms like Microsoft ACCESS, SQL, Visual Studio, web applications and simulation tools. The development platform will be selected according to the specific requirements and software environment of the customer. Examples for successful customised software applications: WEO – Operator planning and scheduling The application enables a detailed simulation of all related tasks of the operators for the production processes. It is unique in regards of the level of detail that can be assigned for the operators tasks. Therefore it allows for the detailed analysis of inefficiencies due to overlapping tasks. It applies a dynamic simulation in order to optimize the utilization of the operators. All results are visualized with various overviews and diagrams. CoDIM CoDIM applies a vast knowldege database to calculate area requirements in airline catering semi-automatically. A comprehensive set of parameters allow it to adjust the tool to the specific situation at different airports and to calculate the necessary area in accordance with the local flight schedule. All areas are broken down into single functions and dimensioned based on specific algorithms. All production areas, cool rooms, buffer and storage areas can be calculated quickly and transparently. If initial settings (e.g. flight schedule, meal specifications) change the resulting changes can be calculated at the push of a button. GEFAP This application calculates production areas in relation to the product structure, sales volumes and process flows. It considers workshop or line principles of the production setup. An integrated capacity calculation allows for the assessment of the net area required for machines and production equipment. With an overhead calculation module transport, storage, buffer and administrative areas are determined. This allows for a complete dimensioning of whole plants. Changing premises, like production volumes or process times, can be directly applied and the new area requirements calculated. DISPOX DISPOX allows for central planning to analyse the outcome of an increase or decrease of the aggregated planned volumes in SAP. Materials are grouped into categories and the future stock requirements calculated. Within a multi-user environment the material planners are able to manage their stocks and direct the necessary information about material input and output to the distributed production sites. This application automatically creates reports for the development of future stocks and allows for a overview of the history of volume changes. It supports central planning with all daily tasks about the control of stocks for all materials. ORDER SUITE ORDER SUITE combines modules for the visualization of customer data, order management and material planning. It is connected online with the existing iseries system and supports the daily work by event triggered and graphic visualization of information for various users within the order planning process. It supports the sales process by showing the user all relevant customer data on screen. The integrated order processing allows for the entering and validation of complete orders into the system by the touch of a button. The disposition module supports the planner with his daily tasks, e.g. the graphic simulation of stock overage or the administration of order details. ORDER SUITE is successfully implemented in a multi-user environment of 30 users. KDS - Kanban Dimensioning System With this database application KANBAN control cycles can be reproduced and simulated on item level. An integrated dynamic simulation module allows for a daily dimensioning of the control cycles based on the production volumes. As a result the user gets detailed information about the time and number of KANBAN cards he should put in or remove from the system in order to achieve an optimized material stock in the related material supermarkets and stores. In addition to that this application administrates all relevant information about KANBAN controlled materials in order to be able to analyse the history of changes in the control cycles. Planning Database All our project databases are setup in a way, that they can easily be extended into a planning application. This allows our customers to apply different planning premises after the project has finished and recalculate the results, even if there is no specific knowledge about databases existent. Therefore our customers have a sustainable advantage that they can use for furher analysis and to improve the plkanning quality even after we finished the project. |
